I met her at a backyard block party by the bar.
I finished reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer today. I still think that it resembles a fan fiction written by a sixteen year old, but I found myself getting sucked into it. Mainly because Edward is basically the epitome of a perfect boyfriend. Minus the vampire part. Now I’m reading Diary by Chuck Palahniuk, and now I only have two or three more books of his to read. Which I don’t think I will ever get Snuff as long as I’m living in this house because if my parents found a book about the gritty side of porn, I’d probably be kicked out or something equally ridiculous.
Also speaking of books, this author that is kind of in connections with Chuck Palahniuk sent me the .pdf version of his book so I can read it and interview him for the blog. It’s pretty good so far, called Anonymous. I haven’t read enough to give a plot outline, but I will sooner or later.
Last night, Kaytlin, Ellen, Carly, and myself went to the theater to see The Strangers. It wasn’t scary so to say, but there was a ton of parts that made me scream and jump. My sister took the win for loudest scream of the night. It was so loud/long and it sounded like she was the one about to be attacked. So funny. We ended the night with Mango Strawberry frutistas at Taco Bell. Delicious.
Only five more days until the end of school, and I’m so excited. I’ve got all week to make up any missing assignments I have, and believe me, I work better under pressure so it will all get done. I hope, hope, hope that I can raise my grade from a D+ to a C- by the end of the week in Algebra 2. I have my fingers crossed. I’ve also got some summaries to do in AP Lang which should only take me an hour to do. I cranked out two of them in an hour the other day, so I’ll ask Cook for a library pass to keep from getting ultimately distracted.
My bathing suit came in the mail the other day. It’s from Urban Outfitters and kind of the 40’s style I suppose wear it’s longer in the leg and whatever else. When my mom told me to get purple, I was skeptical because it looked kind of sickly on the website, but it looks really great on, and after a few trips to the gym, I should be comfortable in it. Even though it’s a one piece, I still have a hardtime feeling comfortable. I also got a dream catcher t-shirt which kind of shows my cleavage, but maybe that’s what I need to start doing.
My teeth are also getting whiter.
